Hello Mr. Jim, My husband had Prostate Cancer 14 years ago. His PSA level slowly started getting higher and he is being treated for Prostate Cancer again, with Erectile Dysfunction. Trying to get him revaluated for a increase. What are the first steps that he should take to make this happen?

He files a claim and the process begins again, much the same as earlier.

If his health care is provided by VA that's all he needs to do. If he's getting care from a civilian provider he should include the medical records indicating his current status.

Keep it simple...this is a frequent happening and VA doesn't need much more than the immediate records to get this done. He'll return to the 100% temporary rating.
