Rating increase?

Question:

If my knee locked up and caused me to fall. And ultimately caused me to have two surgeries on both knees. Which resulted in zero improvements how can I get an increase in my rating of 10% disability on each knee. This is a 27 year old military issue.

If you have a 10% rating on a knee and that knee has gotten worse, you should apply for an increase. If your knees were rated when you had the surgery, you should have received a 100% recuperative rate for a few months and then a new rating.

I may not understand exactly what you're telling me though? If your knees have been rated for 27 years at 10% you're long overdue for an increase and I'm not sure how it happened that you've missed all that?

If your surgery has been at a VA hospital your ratings would likely have been reviewed near automatically. If your care has been at a civilian hospital, it's your task to notify VA. You can apply to increase your rating here https://www.va.gov/disability/how-to-file-claim/
