Question:

I recently filled Agent Orange claim. 4 yrs ago I had stint placed heart attack with other 100% non reachable blockages; followed next yr with a fib and placement of  icd in chest, then allejection fractions test show 20/25% only. What are 100% disability chances?

If the AICD was implanted because of electrical changes in your heart that follow a heart attack, and your left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF or EF) is 25%, you should be rated at 100% P & T twice. You should have a 100% rating for the low LVEF and a 100% rating for the AICD. If you don't get those ratings, appeal!

You are eligible for SMC ratings...the 'housebound' benefit. Be sure to apply for it.'
