I lived in Las Vegas a few years back. If I recall correctly there are dozens of businesses there that will help you file taxes. They range from really expensive CPA firms to the more budget friendly businesses set up in local Walmarts that will file your taxes for a small fee.

The IRS provides free on-line filing that is simple and easy that you can DIY.

If you're asking me if there is a free service to help veterans with taxes...not that I'm aware of. You might ask around at the VA clinic there, it's a pretty large place and they may know of a local service to help.

• PS from StatesideLegal:  You can also check to see if there is a local "low-income taxpayer clinic" in your area (check here.) These clinics exist to provide help with IRS disputes but they may know of community based resources that could help.
