Question:

I had appeal hearing before VA Judge and was approved for benefits . One month later,  I get a call from a company called LHI for C & P exam . Is this customary after a judge approved your appeal?

Jim's Reply:

Yes, the court confirmed that you are service connected for the condition you were appealing. But the court didn't assign a percentage of disability rating so that's what this exam is for. LHI is a contractor that does VA exams.
