Need help with eldercare law. My is in a nursing  home on an IV for 4-6 weeks which is covered by medicare for acute care. After 4-6 weeks he will move to private pay. We are both vets. What are we entitled to as far as benefits from the military? If we go to private pay, do we deplete his IRA and then go to Medicaid? How can I protect my IRA?
