Hello Jim, I’ve just used my VA Loan to buy our 1st home after 39 year’s married. We went through all the process fine, but now they (loan company- MLD mortgage, Inc) are not cashing my first check or responded to call. I’ve got a call from a mortgage collection company yesterday, this cannot be!! I’ve been on phone all day. They acknowledge my many attempts when I call them, but cannot get this resolved on my own. I’m a disabled vet, due to heart conditions and I’m trying. If you can help, we would appreciate your time Sir!

It sounds as if something has gone wrong...seriously wrong. Since you're in California there are any number of unique rules, regs and laws that come into play and that means you need a local expert. I'll ask you to click the link that follows here and start making phone calls. There are a number of resources but it's up to you to find the one that works with you and for you.
