Good Evening, I have been out of the service since 2007 and I want to file a claim for flat feet knees back ringing in the ear and I cant shave. Will a DBQ help my claim and what is the purpose of the DBQ if the VA sends us to the C & P exams. Thank you for your time and patience on this matter

The Disability Benefits Questionnaire (DBQ) is a method of accumulating and reporting specific information about your claim in a format that may be scanned or otherwise entered into a computer. The DBQ will be completed by the examiner during the C & P exam so you don't need to worry about having one prepared yourself.
