Dear Jim, I receive $226 a month for VA Pension and $906 SS.  Do you think I should be getting more VA pension?

VA pension is a means adjusted benefit which tells us that the more income you have, the less pension money you will receive. Without knowing your complete financial picture,  I can't say if your payment is too little. You could ask most any Veterans Service Officer at your local VA clinic to look it over for you to see if an adjustment needs to be made.
