Question:

VA discovered a fib in January and in October I had a 99 percent blockage. I had a stent installed yesterday. What percentage should I get?. I applied for a claim at the VA benefits office. What should I do? Vietnam vet 1969

"What should I do?" File a claim for Ischemic Heart Disease (IHD) and you've done that. Now you wait. " What percentage should I get?" I haven't a clue. VA will determine how much damage has been done to your heart and if very little damage has happened, you may get 0%...if you have bad heart failure, you could get 100%...or anything in between.
