MST/PTSD, UOTH discharge and VA disability
Question:
I was diagnosed with by mst/ptsd dated back to 1981. I received 2 honorable discharges from 1980 to 1988, and a uoth from 1988 to 1990. I applied for a compensation claim that was on contingencies from 1981 to 1986. The VA said that I received a DD 214 which they say shows UO on my hard copy dd 214. I have fought for nearly 2 years. Can they change my dd 214 and can they deny me compensation for that time frame? Then of course they said they erroneously closed my pstd/mst claim. is this legal?
