Question:

I recently had back surgery, fusion and was awarded temp. 100%. If not getting better,  can this be extended? And what will need to be done to do so? Can I have doctor write "needs 6 more months" then visit DAV office? Can it even be more than 6 months   Want to ensure properly held before returning to work! Thank you.

You will be scheduled for a C & P exam about 6 months or so after surgery. At that time the decision will be made about what your future benefits will look like and that's the appropriate time to voice your concerns.
