Question:

Ex Husband has service connect pay and SSDI. His child support is paid by SSDI family pay and out of his own SSDI payment. He's current on his obligation,  but I would like to know if I can get support from his service connect payment.

Jim's Reply:

He is only obligated to pay what the court stipulated during the divorce proceeding. If you think that it's time for an increase, you must return to the court and seek a modification of the child support stipulation.
