I’m a 77 year old Vietnam vet on disability for coronary artery disease and hypertension related to heart disease. Will I have to go for yearly compensation exams?

Probably not. Those ratings aren't usually subject to future exams so unless you seek an increase, your ratings will probably remain the same with no interruptions or exams.
