Question:

I am at 10% for back degeneration since separating in 2007. I now have full blown adult scoliosis. I would like to get re examined and get off IU as well. I am total 80% but IU and also permanent and total. I too would like to return to school. Everyone around me says don't do anything !!! I have a desire to be whole and labeled disabled anymore. thank you. I was warned by a social worker I could lose benefits! I can hardly walk! want to use pell grant and my post 911~~!!!

I don't see where you have a well formed plan. Why would you want to give up your P & T 100% TDIU benefit? You can return to school if you wish, pursue an education and a career all while collecting your benefits. Then if you're able, you may consider your next steps. Good luck!
