TDUI grant but 4 remands

Question:

I was granted TDIU feb 25 2019, but had 4 remands,  so how long will it take for me to get the granted TDIU?

Jim's Reply:

Once a rating has been granted after remands from BVA, the monetary award is verified and then many or even most awards are sent through a system of quality checks ensuring the claim is correctly adjudicated. Once that process is complete the monetary award is calculated and issued appropriately. How quickly the claimant will see the payment depends on a number of factors like the complexity of the appeal and the size of the retroactive monetary award. Most payments will arrive within 30 to 60 days with a few taking longer because of quality control questions. Very large retroactive awards may trigger a review to determine whether the veteran is competent to manage a large sum of money and if not, to propose appointing a fiduciary. If a fiduciary proposal becomes a part of the process, the final monetary award can take months to release from VA.
