Question:

I have an attorney representing me with my appeal. I had 2 appeals at the BVA that were certified and rec’d docket numbers in 2016. We had requested a hearing with a Veterans Law Judge. My appeals were merged recently, and instead of status tracking stating that my case is awaiting a hearing date, it now says that they closed the newer appeal and merged it with the older one that is awaiting a decision soon by a Veterans law Judge. What happened to hearing? Is this good news?
