BVA favorable decision 11 months ago
Question:
I am currently being paid at 90% service connected. I (after 12years) got a favorable decision back from the bva on increased ratings on migraines median nerve neuropathy, an effective date back to 2005, and TDUI for the whole period, oh and a new rating for bipolar. This was granted with a remand on my left scapula and shoulder range of motion. Also included in decision were denials for a handful of increases on other issues I know they're dead.
My question is this letter was received by my lawyer and I in April of 2018. It’s 11 months later, the remand is satisfied since January but still not receiving 100% monthly or any of the back pay. Can't get any reasons. Have filed financial hardship, lawyer has inquired as to why not paid 5 times. Have my congressman inquiring as well and they’re still delay to deathing me.
Any suggestions or insights? Anything would help at this point. I’d be just as happy if someone just lied to me. Thanks.

You already have the best folks you can looking into what happened so I can't do any better than that. The best I could tell you is what I tell a lot of people; Because VA. VA drops the ball so often that it's legend to almost every veteran. Things happen for no reason and all too often there will never be an explanation and you can bet there won't be any way you'll ever know who delayed your claim since accountability isn't part of the lexicon. Dealing with VA is the single most frustrating experience of our lives, as you know. Good luck sir. Dealing with VA is the single most frustrating experience of our lives, as you know. Good luck sir.
