Will the VA inform me in advance of stopping my disability payments or will it just not be in bank account when it’s expected?

VA doesn't just suddenly stop disability payments without notification and a chance to appeal whatever is going on. But mistakes are made and plenty of vets don't get the notice because of a wrong address or phone number in the system. Always be sure that VA can reach you and you shouldn't have any unpleasant surprises.
