More C & P questions

Question:

I recently had a C&P exam that seems inconsistent from what I was asked to perform during testing. Am I able to re-test for the exam at a different VA hospital? I've had not so positive experiences at the local hospital during exams. Some of the testing listed in the notes were not given to me, and some of my statements of the severity of my disabilities were not listed... Please give any advice on how I should go forward with this matter.

Jim's Reply:

You shouldn't do anything. C & P exams are a part of a process and that process should be followed to conclusion. Once you receive the decision about your claim, if you're happy with the decision, you're done. If you aren't happy with the decision, you have a right to appeal. Many appeals are based on the inadequate exams that are often given. Trying to interrupt the process would throw it all off track and add delays to your case. Wait for the decision, then act if necessary.
