Am I allowed to work despite my rating and compensation I receive?

Question

I have 100% va rating and receiving housebound compensation. Somehow I am receiving it because of the way percentages add up. Some rule that was new about 5 or 6 years ago. I have been turned down by social security so my only income is my va. At times it is not enough to make ends meet. My question is can I get a partime job? An extra $1000 a month would really help. I understand that I have not given a lot of info and would be willing to answer any question you may have. Thank you

if your rating is TDIU or "Unemployability" you could take such a job but you'd want to be careful to keep your earnings below the national poverty level. If your rating is 100% schedular, you're allowed to work as much as you're able.
