PTSD and firearms
Question
I have PTSD from the military and i live in Missouri. Can i legally own a firearm and pursue my concealed carry license?
Jim's Reply
As of January 2017 there is no longer a requirement that citizens have any permit to carry a weapon in Missouri. The only exceptions are domestic violence offenders and felons. If you have ever been committed to an inpatient treatment program for a mental health condition, the federal NICS system may prevent you from purchasing a firearm but once you have it, you're set.
