Most VA problems really aren't all that difficult to resolve once you determine just what the problem is
Hello Mr. Strickland,
I would like to know what to do when it comes to fighting with the VA for my benefits. I have been fighting for 12 years for disabilities which they have rated me and some of only service connected.
I need to speak you with telephonically so we can further discuss at your earliest please. I have enclosed my information for you to contact me.

I don't respond using telephone calls unless and until I believe that a voice conversation is a required part of the solution. Using email is much more effective and it provides each of us with an accurate record of what we say. The fact is that I enjoy talking with other veterans and we always end up talking too much.
Most VA problems really aren't all that difficult to resolve once you determine just what the problem is. If you have a well grounded claim, there is probably a solution. While dealing with the VA can be frustrating and highly emotional, issues we confront can almost always be resolved by carefully applying a few of the rules that VA insists we follow.
If you'll take a few minutes now to write to me and to tell me just what is going on, I'll be happy to reply soon.
I'd like to know what the claim is, what the disabling condition is, when you filed the claim and when it was denied. If the claim was denied and you appealed, the dates and circumstances of all that will help.
Please try to keep it brief and to the point. Then we can work together to develop an action plan for you to resolve your VA problems.
