I am a US Navy veteran (1970-1974) and have a credit card debt from 2002. I have just recently been harassed and threatened about it. Is there any statute of limitations. I am receiving financial help through HUD-VASH (VA Supported Housing) and cannot afford what they are demanding. Any advise would be appreciated.

I only advise about veterans benefits. You may find some help at the http://www.statesidelegal.org web site.
