I served in the Air Force and was stationed at Udorn Thain AB, Thailand from Dec 1, 1965 to Dec 1, 1966. Am I considered a Vietnam Vet?

The Vietnam Era is "The period beginning on February 28, 1961, and ending on May 7, 1975, inclusive, in the case of a veteran who served in the Republic of Vietnam during that period. Did your feet touch the soil of Vietnam? If not, you're a Vietnam era vet.
