VA retired nurse says Thank you!

Question:

Jim, I have no question but simply want to thank you. I recently retired from the VA as a Registered nurse. You probably do not realize just how many veterans you have helped with your advice when they have nowhere else to turn! I always provide your website . My spouse is a Vietnam vet with prostate cancer and on active survalence for the past 10 years and it has been a struggle.  Thank you for your priceless help!

Jim's Reply:

Thank you for your kind words. Those words mean a great deal to me and they're a big part of the motivation that keeps us going. Your words mean even more knowing they come from an RN who worked at VA...you're one of my heroes. I've often said that in spite of the politics, in spite of the horrid leadership cycles that leave us with so many interim executives, in spite of budgeting woes...there is a cadre of dedicated professional caregiving employees who are in the hospitals 24 x 7 taking care of the sickest of sick vets. Thank you!
