I am looking for a reliable, potentially pro bono, source for advice on a Special Needs Trust(my older son has autism), especially how it will relate to my SBP when I pass.

Many veterans law attorneys will be able to offer you some guidance by evaluating your circumstances and they'll do that initial consult for free. Although the advice on the path you need to take may be at no cost, the work that would have to be done later would likely have a fee attached. If you need help and you're eligible, many law schools and legal aid groups in your region may be able to help.
