The chemical you refer to is a well known solvent used to degrease items, often those stored or transported in thick, greasy cosmoline or even as a dry cleaning fluid. While the Petroferm MIL-PRF-680 Degreasing Solvents aren't presumptive for any conditions at VA, that doesn't stop you from filing a VA disability claim if you believe you were harmed by using the substance on active duty.
