Question:
My father is retired Army. Had a massive stroke in Jan. We children have POA for medical, but not for financial. We want to bring him home on hospice but need access to his bank to have private duty care paid for by his account. Any suggestions please.

You're going to need some legal help...a lawyer who is experienced in probate, wills, POA as well as veterans benefits. You'll find the veterans law attorneys I refer to on this page https://www.vawatchdog.org/how-to-hire-a-veterans-law-attorney.html
Scroll through the lawyers you'll meet there and contact them for a free assessment of how they may be able to help you. Most will be able to help you even though they may not be in your region.
