Question:
I enrolled in Strayer and UMGC at the same time. I asked Strayer (the second school) if I could enroll concurrently. The rep said yes so I did and the Dept of Education paid both schools. It took the money back from Strayer which said I now owe them the $6,000. I talked to the director who said it was stated by me to the advisor that I was enrolled in two schools at the same time; it is in their notes. They admitted fault, but still want me to pay. What can I do?
