Question:
Is there a pro bono resource concerning a lying ex-wife and child support?
Jim's Reply:
No, not that I'm aware of. Divorce is a civilian problem and your status as a vet doesn't help you at all. Divorce lawyers have zero incentive to get involved with your "lying ex-wife" problems unless you pay them. A lot. Up front. Most family courts allow litigants to represent themselves so if you have something to say, file for a modification of your divorce decree stipulations and the judge will allow you to say what you need to say. Be warned that when we do this with or without a lawyer on our side, the court often raises our obligation and we're no better off than before. Sometimes it's best to let a sleeping dog lie.
