PTSD getting worse

Question:

I am 90% scheduler and 100%. My PTSD is rated at 70% and is not getting better. I have a scheduled exam in 2021 for my PTSD. However, my V.A. Psychiatrist gave me alerted stating that my PTSD is getting worse with constant hallucinations. My question: How do I apply for P&T for my PTSD? Do you have any suggestions?

There is no formal pathway to apply for a permanent v. a temporary rating. I almost always advise against trying to accomplish this since VA can and often will lower the existing rating citing improvements in the rated conditions. My advice is to wait until the next future exam and speak with the examiner about the permanence of the rating. If the examiner suggests that it is permanent, the rater will take that into consideration.
