Question:
I’m going through a divorce that should’ve been finalized by now. I feel like my attorney is just stringing me along. I need help as a veteran to resolve my matter as soon as possible. Since March of 2018 it’s been dragging out and I’m so frustrated. Is there any help out there I can get? I’m desperate to finalize this divorce.

Veterans don't get any special favors in divorce court. That you're a vet has no bearing on anything that happens...divorce is a civil issue and unrelated to your service. If you aren't happy with your lawyer, you can fire that person and hire another lawyer or represent yourself. Those are your only options.
