Question:

I served at Camp Lejeune 1982-1986, drank the water. Now I just had my bladder removed. They told me no cancer, so was it removed because of the water?

Jim's Reply:

I don't understand why your bladder would be removed other than for a cancer? The water at Lejeune is thought to cause or contribute to bladder cancer so your story isn't quite adding up. If I were you, I'd go ahead and file a VA disability claim and get the process started.
