Question:
I am receiving apportionment from my ex-husbands benefits. I filed with VA all bills and paperwork now VA tells me I need outside help to get an increase....???

I'm not sure I understand what sort of increase you're seeking? If you're asking for an increase in the amount that your ex owes you, that order must come from the family court...it's called a modification of an existing order. Once that happens, then VA may or may not be able to work with you to increase the apportionment.
