Question:
I'm a 100% disabled veteran who has been harassed by the Flathead County government for the past eight years by being arrested and incarcerated five times for no apparent reason. While incarcerated I was beaten up twice by the deputies to where I suffered concussions, broken bones and a stroke. Since then I've been threatened three times by the deputies and now I live in fear for my life. I have contacted the Montana Attorney General, Senator Tester, the U.S. Attorney General, and the FBI and I failed to receive any help. Can you help me?
Jim's Reply:
No, I can't help you. You need a local lawyer to help you call a halt to any abuse.
- PS from StatesideLegal: Use the "Find Legal Help" directory for a LRS provider that can give you contact information for a local attorney who specializes in lawsuits against police departments for a low-cost consultation.
