Question:

I want to know if i will lost the right of the Military pension and survivor benefit after divorce [from] my husband after 28 years of married.

Jim's Reply:

In many cases, once you are no longer a dependent you lose the right to any dependents benefits. This is an issue that should be addressed by the family court during the divorce proceedings.
