Question:
I had a remand in June 14. How long for a decision from the BVA?
Jim's Reply:
Nobody can predict how long any individual case may take to adjudicate. We know that many or even most BVA appeals are taking from 3 to 7 years to complete. A remand will slow your appeal down, so be prepared for further delays. If you have an appeal in front of the BVA, I'd recommend that you are represented by a veterans law attorney. Then the attorney will be better able to advise you of what's up with your case.
