My husband filed for IHD Oct 2009 and it is still in ratings.He has several other medical problems. My question is should I wait until he gets a decision on the IHD before he files another claim for the other medical conditions?
He has systemic lupus, discoid lupus, COPD. GERD,pernicious anemia,degenerative disk disease and is non service connected 0% housebound. I'm not sure how to claim any of these. He has blood work and lab work to show the 2 lupus's, anemia, and degenerative disk disease. I'm not sure that I can claim these are service connected or just due to his age of 62.

I'd wait for the IHD claim to be adjudicated. I doubt any of those are service connected if you have no evidence supporting service connection. To file for conditions that are not well grounded may slow down the process for the IHD claim.
