Question:
I was sexually assaulted on duty and had an injury from it. I received service connected for the injury. In 1998, I applied for PTSD but missed my appointment so they denied me. I recently filed a supplemental claim and they sent me to a C & P exam for MSA PTSD. The psychiatrist said they see a lot of mistakes that were made in 1998 on my claim . She led me to believe that I should be service-connected with MSA PTSD. Do you think they will accept the results of my C & P exam based on this person's opinion or send me to another appt? Claim says it’s in decision phase. Hope you understand my question and thanks in advance

I do understand your question, but you're asking me to take a guess about your claim and I can't do that. While I understand that everyone is anxious and would like some reassurance, the fact is that there is no way anyone could accurately predict the course of your claim. Good luck!
