Question:

I need help with a situation. I entered wrong info for military check direct deposit and was over $2000 went to the wrong account and I'm trying to get my money back. who can I call?

Jim's Reply:

If the bank isn't helping, and you say it was a military (not VA) check, your next stop is probably DFAS. You can also contact the insurance commissioner of the state the bank operates in.
