Question:
Hi, Jim I am 50% s/c for both my shoulders and have recently been diagnosed with Leukemia. My shoulders are bone on bone and my Oncologist says my shoulders cannot be worked on because of this ( a great risk for infection, possibly fatal). Could this situation raise the bar in regards to my S/C shoulders via a claim? thanks
Jim's Reply:
I don't see how your circumstances with the recent diagnosis changes the shoulder disability? If you had a scheduled shoulder replacement on the books and have had to cancel because of the recent diagnosis, maybe...but even then it's a reach. But a purely hypothetical case? If it were me, I wouldn't bother.
