Question:

Hi Mr Jim,I was separated from Parris Island in Feb.2009 with an RE-3P. Since this time i have down some research,and all i keep seeing is condition, not a disabilty( TDRL). Can you tell me if I might be entitled to some benefits or anything? Thanks.

Jim's Reply:

No, without knowing a lot more about you I can't help. I'll suggest that you go to your nearest VA facility (hospital, clinic, regional office) and speak with a veterans service officer. You'll usually find the DAV, VFW and others in offices there.
