Question:
How would I go about obtaining a letter of "Paid in Full" regarding my Lump sum payment/SSB for early separation in 1992. This debt had been paid in full approximately 1993. Now I fully retired from USAF Reserves in 2017. I qualified for Concurrent Receipt and full VA Compensation. After 17 months and after an audit I was granted my retirement. DFAS has begun garnishing my retirement for the full repayment of the early separation/SSB that has already been paid. What can I do after 26 years?

I have doubts there's anything you will be able to do without the help of an attorney who is familiar with the workings of DFAS. Try talking with these folks and see if you can find an advocate
