Question:
I was treated for depression due to ED while serving. I was separated for treatment failure from Family Advocacy Program for having a physical altercation with another sailor I was dating after serving 13 years 9 months in the Navy. No charges were filed. I am now service-connected for major depression due to ED and past events due to the incident. I was separated 13 months after the incident. My question is can I file for medical retirement? I was treated by a Navy Psychologist for 2 months before the incident happened.
