Bogus Complaints against me

Question:

What recourse do I have if I find out that someone has been intentionally meddling & filing bogus complaints against me with both the Social Security Administration & the VA? This has been part of larger campaign of harassment, threats and attempts to intimidate me & my family.  As a last refuge (since I could not find any lawyers willing to help), I filed for bankruptcy this past Sept 7th to put an automatic stay on the malicious lawsuit they filed (the core allegation being I committed fraud by claiming to be a US Marine and they say I am not ...The Judge ruled 1. my Honorable discharge; 2. US Archives obtained Service file and 3. a letter directed by the Commandant USMC (COMC) (then Gen. Dunford, USMC) were all 'hear-say' despite my swearing to their accuracy using the courthouse's affidavit form.  I have 16+ ways I have proven I am a Marine (VA loan certificate, ID.me 2 stage verified, etc) and still I am getting hammered by these criminals.  In fact, I now know they helped spirit my daughter away from VMI across state lines and we have not seen or heard from her for four + years! I talked with local Sheriff last week (he does not have jurisdiction but is known to support Veterans) and he openly wept when I told him my story.  I have Parkinson's and Hugh's syndrome (both Lejeune Toxic water related) and multiple TBI and PTS.  I have had 22 surgeries since 2007 and am barely able to walk. Even so, I continue to do my best to: a) not lose my sense of compassion and goodness;  b) sense of humor; c) desire to continue to give back and help fellow veterans.    To that end, I donated the winning submission to last year’s National Juried Veteran art show that I won the 1st place Gold medal to my good friend retired Col Mark Olson USMC for his 501x3 organization and the honorable mention to my former Gunny, retired Sgt Major John Holmes, USMC for his efforts. I will always donate proceeds from my art (which I was urged to start 2 years ago for Neuroplasticity) to help Veterans. see www.dshannonart.com if you wish to see if they may be used to support your organization.  I'll conclude with: Thank you for your efforts on behalf of Veterans, God speed and Semper fi!

Jim's Reply:

From what you describe, you need a lawyer. If you've spoken with lawyers and they aren't willing or able to help, you have to consider the possibility that you may not have a case. Good luck.
